Håkon Samuelsen has studied under instructors such as Natalia Shakhovskaya, Frans Helmerson and Truls Mørk, with Bjørn Solum at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, Norway, and Thomas Demenga in Basel, Switzerland. He is currently completing a master's degree (MA) in Specialized Music Performance in Zurich, Switzerland.

Mari Samuelsen started to play the violin at the age of 3. For 10 years she was taught by world-renowned Norwegian violinist Arve Tellefsen. She then went on to study under some of the world's most distinguished violin teachers at prestigious music academies and conservatories. Mari has ties to Norway's prestigious and prominent Barratt Due Institute of Music, and is currently finishing her second master's degree in Zurich, where she is taught by the legendary Professor Zachar Bron.

The siblings Mari and Håkon Samuelsen grew up in the beautiful natural surroundings of the Olympic city of Hamar in Norway. At an early age they began playing the violin and the cello. From the very start they were instructed by highly renowned teachers.
Today Mari and Håkon are solo performers of international calibre, and play the biggest venues with the greatest orchestras and conductors. They have won international competitions and awards.
