The Classical Christmas Concert Foundation's statutes state that its purpose is to organize and disseminate national and international cultural experiences in the shape of concerts or other fora for development of knowledge and expertise in the arts and music.
Starting in 2010-2011, the Classical Christmas Concert Foundation will therefore invite talented Norwegian artists between 18 and 30 to accompany the international performers, and will offer Master Classes that will function as a forum for development and stimulation of eminent Norwegian artists. The conditions for entering the competition to participate will be announced in the media and at national singing and music academies. A jury will be appointed to assess the entrants based on their CVs and video recordings that they will be able to submit. The Master Classes will also be open for audiences to watch. The Foundation will encourage broad involvement by other students and cultural institutions that do not take active part.
Tuition:
The Master Classes will be organized and led by a professional with extensive experience in international-level work, which the person will draw on for the benefit of both the participants and the international artists who will give the classes.
In 2010-2011 the Master Classes will be aimed at singers.
